How can I best care for my board?

Keep it out of the sun, clean after use, and handle with care!: Prolonged exposure to the sun can damage the materials and affect the longevity of your bodyboard. When not in use, store your board in a cool, shaded area to protect it from sun damage. Rinse your bodyboard with fresh water after each use to remove saltwater, sand, and debris. This will help prevent build-up and protect the material.

I got scratches on my board, is this normal?
At California Freckle, we believe a worn bodyboard is a sign that you're getting in the water and having fun, AKA you're doing the thing! A little wear is completely normal.The design on the back of the bodyboard is screen printed and may be prone to scrapes and fading over time, especially with frequent use. While this is part of the fun, taking care of your board will help preserve its look.​

Do you accept refunds?
At California Freckle, we want you to enjoy your products to the fullest. Due to the nature of our items, all sales are final and non-refundable. However, if there is a defect in the product or an issue caused by company error (e.g., damaged items or wrong products), please contact us within 7 of receiving your order. We’ll make it right with a replacement or refund for defective products. Please note that items returned for reasons other than defects or errors are not eligible for a refund.

Do you offer pick up?
Ventura locals, you're in luck! At checkout you'll have the option to pick up or have free local delivery.

How long will it take to ship?
we’re a mighty team of one (🙃), so please allow up to 3-5 business days to get your order shipped out. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow your board’s journey right to your door.

Do you offer free shipping?
At this time we're unable to offer free shipping. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location. We offer standard shipping and expedited options to suit your needs.

My package got lost, what should I do?
If your package arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll make it right.

Do you support international orders?
Please note, at this time we are shipping to US customers only. However, we will do everything we can to get a bodyboard to those who want one! Please send us an email and we will see what we can do.
