Hi, I'm Lara. As a Southern California native, beach days have always been a part of my life. Growing up, we’d spend hours in the water—laughing, playing, and completely caught up in the fun. But somewhere along the way, life got busy. Things became serious, responsibilities took over, and that effortless joy started to fade.

Still, the moment I step into the ocean, everything else disappears. The stress, the noise—it’s like a reset button. Being in the water has always been my happy place, and the best times are the ones spent with friends, laughing until our cheeks hurt.

I started California Freckle to bring that feeling back—to make it easy, fun, and inviting for anyone to get in the water and just enjoy themselves. Because we could all use a little more of that.​
